I have a definite apprehension of receiving general dental treatment, let alone a root canal. Dr. Rasmussen and staff not only alleviated my concerns but went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and confident in the root canal treatment they provided. Thank you very much!

I want to share my experience. I've never left a review before but Dr.Rasmussen saved my tooth. I was scheduled at my dentist office for an extraction. when a coworker recommended I get a second opinion. She shared her positive experience and gave me Southern Oregon Endodontic phone number. Its been over a year since I've have my root canal and I am extremely happy I listened to my coworker.

It seems weird to say I’d rather have a root canal than any other dental procedure, but after my experience at Southern Oregon Endodontics, that is definitely how I feel. Everyone was so nice and considerate, they made sure I had absolutely no pain- the procedure felt no worse than getting a regular filling. When I called I had been in pain for three weeks, waiting for my dentist to file paperwork and give me a referral… I decided to pay out of pocket since the wait seemed unbearable. SOE fit me in the day I called and I left the office feeling so much better than when I arrived. Can not recommend them enough!

This was my first root canal and they made sure I felt no pain! During my last dental procedure (a crown many years ago) the numbing did not work and I was understandably nervous. But Dr. Rasmussen and the assistant were both amazing!She explained things very well and was very calming. Dr. Rasmussen took extra time to be sure I was numb and was very precise. It didn’t numb my whole face like I’ve had before at dentists! I had sinus trouble and they worked so hard and quite quickly for my comfort. They are very skilled here and really care about people. Hardly anyone else there the entire time so very calm. I will get my next root canal here!

From start to finish this was a fast and easy experience. Misty was so nice and helped me schedule in a timely fashion since I was dealing with quite a bit of pain. I’ve never needed dental work like this done before, so I was a bit nervous and didn’t know what to expect.
Dr. R was amazing! He explained the pros and cons of doing a root canal at my age, did testing himself first to make sure the root canal that my family dentist recommended was the appropriate treatment anyway, and then when it came to the root canal it’s self it went so fast and wasn’t painful in the slightest. I was in and out of the office in under an hour.
Also all the support staff at the front desk were great (they helped get me in relatively quickly), and his dental assistant was great too.
I hope I never need a root canal again, but I definitely know where I will be going if I do need one!

The staff was great. They were very welcoming and friendly as soon as I walked in the door. The Dentist was very nice and informative. He would take time out to explain any and all questions one does not understand. He provided excellent service and I will be coming here for all my future dental needs.
